1. What is MSX?

MSX, the North American MotorSports Expo, is a conference and expo targeted toward all amateur racers, national car clubs and associations, as well as driving enthusiasts from around the country.  MSX provides educational programs and seminars for current and potential participants in all amateur racing competition and an exhibit hall devoted to racing parts, equipment, safety and technology.

3. What Organizations Support MSX?

The ultimate goal of MSX is to build a community where amateur sports car racers can congregate to educate themselves, network with peers, and find the products they need to help them WIN.  To accomplish this, MSX has partnered with SCCA, SCCA Pro, NASA, NASA Rally Sport, North Carolina Motorsports Association (NCMA), the World Karting Association (WKA), as well as media partners including Grassroots Motorsports, Classic Motorsports, RACER, SportsCar, National Speed Sport News and Motorsport Illustrated News.

6. How much does it cost to attend?

7. Why is this being held in Charlotte, NC?

Charlotte’s motorsport heritage is undeniable. Charlotte provides easy access to the largest concentration of SCCA members and motorsport enthusiasts in the country. Charlotte’s longstanding history and culture within the industry makes it the perfect location for the best amateur motorsports organization in America.
 

8. Is MSX the same as the SCCA National Convention?

MSX is NOT the same as the National Convention. MSX is a trade show and conference focused on the amateur sports car community of hardcore, grassroots racers. It features a conference for drivers, by drivers and an exhibit hall dedicated to the wants and needs of the amateur racer looking to find those extra tenths of a second that will help them win.  SCCA's National Convention is co-located with MSX.
